Have never had problem with Harcourts. Great people. As long as u look after the place and do right by it there shouldn't be any probs. I've always look after my rentals and always had great feedback from harcourts for it
I have had the same experience as many others with Robyn, she treats people with an abhorrent sense of indecency. If you rent from this company be prepared to be spoken to like you're not worth her time. The other staff have been pleasant and great to deal with. It is regrettable that they have allowed such a bitter, mean person to hold a position of power within the company because everyone else I have spoken to within the company has been respectful and not at all hostile I cannot say the same for Robyn. I will not be dealing with this agent ever again.

When looking for a property manager for my property all I wanted was someone who kept me informed and up to date. Numerous times I had to contact regarding rent payments. On final inspection the guy they sent had no idea what he was doing. . I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for a property manager. Pity they don't have option for no star rating as this is what I would give them.
I made the very big mistake to rent a property from these people for 1.5 years, from 2012-2013. Talk about double faced people! They were all smiles when it came to property inspections and the second the contract was signed, I was DONE! Talk about hateful, condescending, patronising, sour, neglectful, disrespectful, awful people to deal with! They couldn't even afford a smile! You'd call up and get the normal lovely greeting and the second you told them you were one of their tenants, they had no time for you, were rude, short and blatantly so. The neglect towards their tenants was so bad that they are known for being that way around the peninsula, particularly the principal at the branch: Robyn. Just the turn over of admin girls was enough to prove how nasty a person she is and what kind of culture they had. I managed to get a hold of my land lords through doing some investigation work and spoke directly to them on a number of occasions to get things fixed, because not only were they dreadful to deal with as a tenant but on top of that, they'd withhold information from the land lords! Talk about a joke!!!!! It was so bad, it was laughable! At one stage the (only) aircon unit on the property wasn't working and it took a dozen phone calls, a complaint to fair trading and a countless pictures as evidence of it not working for harcourts to sent a repair man. Another typical one was having a representative of the company (often Robyn herself) show up unannounced at the property! Their ability to manage properties and tenants (or lack thereof) was just appalling, and made me wonder on numerous occasions how they even had a real estate license! They taint the name of Harcourts, and seriously need an intervention from the parent company! I knew of a number of landlords who had investment properties around Kadina, Wallaroo and Moonta who refused to have anything to do with the company, particularly Robyn and her "team" be it for rent management, sales, etc. just because they'd been severely warned of her terrible reputation, incompetence and attitude and the general attitude of her employees. I only wish I had known about it before moving to the Yorke Peninsula and signing a contract with them, it would have saved me A LOT of annoyances and frustration. I very very VERY strongly recommend people stay as far away from these agents as you possibly can! I changed properties and realestate agents as soon as I found something else that was suitable after my contract with Harcourts had expired, and was quite pleased with LJ hooker!
